Indianapolis Firefighters respond to an unoccupied duplex on the city's near downtown eastside on Wednesday evening. Quick action on the part of Engine 11 and 22 confined the fire to the room of origin. Furniture in the front room was burning when firefighters arrived on the scene. Heavy black smoke was emanating from the front porch.
